Carl J. Lange, PE

Carl is the President of Lange Technical Services Ltd. with over 35 years of extensive automotive knowledge and experience.  Carl has been involved in the design, construction and repair of custom passenger and special purpose vehicles.  These vehicles include heavy duty off-road equipment, various types of trailers and tractors, emergency vehicles, armored vehicles, military vehicles and commercial vehicles.  Carl has provided service to many organizations including vehicle manufacturers, fleet owners, insurance companies and individuals.

Carl has an extensive background in aircraft ground support equipment and has been a consultant to Patria Vammas Oy; a Finnish manufacturer of high speed airport runway snow removal equipment.  In this capacity he has provided assistance in adapting the equipment and its various systems for the American market and has directly been involved with the design and engineering aspects of the equipment.

Carl is a Licensed Professional Engineering in the State of New York, a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, Certified Vehicle Theft Investigator and a Certified Hazardous Materials First Responder.

Jeffrey Lange, PE

Jeff is Vice President of Lange Technical and along with engineering responsibilities, runs the day to day operations of the company.  Jeff has directly participated in over 4500 automotive cases requiring vehicle and/or incident analysis for accident reconstruction, products liability and the investigation of questionable insurance claims.  Jeff has offered testimony for both plaintiff and defense, criminal and civil matters.  Expert testimony has be given in cases of vehicle theft, forensic lock analysis, products liability, mechanical systems operation, accident reconstruction, verification of damages, restraints systems operation and use, occupant dynamics, occupant injury potential and fire origin and cause determination. 

Among many professional and industry certifications, Jeff is a licensed New York State Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electro-mechanical Computer Engineering Technology from New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Forensic Examination from Touro College.  Jeff is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, holds a number of ASE certifications, Vetronix Certified in Crash Data Retrieval ("black box" technology), a IAIL Certified Forensic Locksmith and a Bonded Automotive Locksmith.
